Masters was founded by Varant and Varast Markarian in 1984. Both brothers are still the principals of the company. Varant Markarian is the President of the company. He oversees the operations including estimating and project management. Varast Markarian is the Vice President and Treasurer. His duties include overseeing the financial aspects of the business.

Our company is fully computer automated with all departments connected to our local network. This allows the smooth flow of information to each station. Masters utilizes the latest computer programs in our day-to-day operations. These include Autocad, Primavera scheduling, Expedition contract software and electronic payrolls. We have a full time internet technology manager to assist us in this pursuit.

Masters Contracting Corporation holds A, B, C10, C21 and HAZ licenses. Our work focuses generally on rehabilitation of existing structures and site work. We perform all phases of work from concrete to safety and technology upgrades. Masters has several long-term relationships with many quality Los Angeles subcontractors. Our work in the past has covered every trade and many challenging situations.

Masters has over 25 full time employees in our various departments. Our project management team has over 80 years combined experience in the construction industry. We employ a full time scheduler in order to track and update the progress of individual projects and our overall commitments.

Masters has over 15 fully qualified project superintendents. Each superintendent is required to currently be CAL/OSHA qualified as well as have a current First Aid/CPR credential. Our superintendents work closely with the project management team to track the progress of their projects.

Masters' in house counsel has over 15 year of hands-on construction experience. In addition their practice is dedicated solely to construction contracts and corporate administration. We pride ourselves in settling potential conflicts at the earliest management level with the least cost to all parties involved.
